Mount Riverview, NSW
A calm, resort style retreat for a family home in Mount Riverview. The brief was simple: create generous space for swimming, gathering, and quiet downtime with minimal maintenance. The design centers a new pool and broad terrace, aligned to the home’s main living areas for clear views and an easy indoor-outdoor flow.
A spacious platform by the water works as the primary entertaining zone, with built-in benching and a discrete BBQ landing to keep the setting clean and uncluttered. Planting is restrained and architectural, framing the hardscape and softening edges year-round.
“Strong geometry, warm textures, and a disciplined palette create a space that feels relaxed and effortless.”
Durable materials, pale stone, textured masonry, and timber accents deliver a timeless look that wears in, not out. Subtle, integrated lighting extends use well into the evening while highlighting the pool’s long axis and the surrounding forms.
The result is a quiet, elevated oasis: simple to live with, easy to care for, and ready for long summer days and unhurried nights by the water.
